Welcome to University Behavioral Health.
UBH offers free mental health and chemical dependency assessment and referral services for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. If treatment is advised, we can assist with admission to a UBH program or recommend other treatment options in the community. We accept most major insurance, Medicare, Tricare, and Medicaid up to age 21.
The Care Center clinical staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to respond to calls. Private and confidential assessments and referral information are provided at no charge.

- How do I make a referral?
Call the Care Center at 888-320-8101 with the following: Your name, title, phone, patient name, demographic, presenting problem, clinical information, and insurance information.
Your contact information will trigger clinical communication during your patient’s stay at UBH of Denton or NorthPointe Family Center.
- How can I get information about my patient that is currently at UBH of Denton or at the NorthPointe Family Center?
Referring professionals and other providers providing follow-up care to our patients can expect to receive a 1-page aftercare plan. The aftercare plan includes all aftercare appointments and dates, diagnosis, and medication information.

- How can I get medical records for my patient after s/he has been discharged?

- What does a Professional Relations Liaison do?
UBH of Denton is proud to provide a Professional Relations Team to assist physicians and other professionals in the community in getting their needs met. One of their main responsibilities is helping you when communicating with the staff at UBH. They are available to assist you in answering questions while guiding you through the admission and/or discharge process. Each Liaison is knowledgeable about the programs UBH has to offer, and they can provide your agency with information on any specific program that relates to the population you serve. They can also conduct presentations, exhibit at conferences, and supply your organization with brochures and other literature about our services.
